King's Patient Safety and Service Quality Research Centre (King's PSSQ) is one of only two nationally designated PSSQ Centres. Funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), the Centre was established as part of the Government's 'Best Research for Best Health' strategy, and formed through a strong working partnership combining the expertise of senior staff at King's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and King's College London.
King's PSSQ has worked with Foresight Partnership in the development of the new guidance for NHS boards- 'The Healthy NHS Board', and in particular in establishing the evidence base underpinning the guidance.
