Jeanette Muff, Office Manager

Jeanette Muff Jeanette is an experienced project manager and office administrator with sound experience of both public and voluntary sectors. With a strong customer services and systems analyst background, her strengths include organisation, information management and logistics. She has designed surveys, produced quality reviews, revised best-practice policies and assessed marketing opportunities for a number of organisations. In her support roles she has regularly serviced boards and committees; set up new office premises and internal systems; logged and investigated customer complaints; maintained websites; and arranged events and training courses.

Her previously-held roles were team leader posts providing IT support and helpdesk operations for British Telecom’s payroll and billing systems and for the Environment Agency; Online Communications Manager at English Heritage; Equality and Diversity Administrator at Goldsmiths, University of London and a number of office manager roles in different companies.

Jeanette’s voluntary commitments have covered Volunteer Co-ordinator at the London Canal Museum; devising PC training for the over-sixties at Blackheath Age Exchange; befriending adults with learning disabilities via the TANDEM scheme; Secretary of BT’s Women’s Network (entailing promoting a jobshare service for part-time staff; extra-curricular training and mentoring for managers and non-managers; encouragement of women and teenage girls to consider traditionally male-dominated careers; and close liaison with the Ethnic Minorities Group, Disability Forum and Education Department); plus, assisting with research, fundraising, press releases, membership enquiries, finance, administration and exhibitions for small charities. She is currently treasurer of a residents’ committee.

She has a BSc in Mathematics and several City & Guilds computer qualifications. Interests include campaigning on local transport and environmental issues; attending radio and television comedy recordings; quizzes; vegan cookery and yoga.

 

Amber Wyatt, Projects & Accounts Administrator

Amber WyattAmber is our most recent team member and joined us as Projects & Accounts Administrator in April 2011. She has a wealth of experience in accounting and finance administration gained through working in the education, local government, charity and banking sectors. Previous roles include posts at Havering Sixth Form College, the London Borough of Havering, Queen Mary and Westfield College and Chase Manhattan Bank. She has held roles on Equality and Diversity, Social and Fundraising groups.

Amber was also Personal Assistant to the Service Delivery Manager of the Advocacy Service at Age Concern Essex, where she co-ordinated a group of six Advocates; completed regular returns for the Department of Health and Essex County Council; and developed a knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. She produced the comprehensive service brochure and also developed customer and stakeholder satisfaction surveys.

Amber has held various voluntary roles, namely as a Beaver Scout leader, a toe-nail trimmer, a school literacy supporter and is currently the membership secretary of Brentwood Swimming Club.

Amber is qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians and skilled in a variety of computer packages.
Amber has a season ticket at her local theatre and regularly attends sports events, particularly football and swimming.
